I hate the politicians who’re notorious for nepotism and parochialism in each and every way.
I feel disgusting to see the ‘so-called’ political leaders who promise what they could have easily done in their previous regimes.
I dislike the kings and kingmakers who need to be taught the meaning of decorum and dignity in political arena.
I abhor the MLAs who visit their constituencies for grievance redressal, just a fortnight before the elections.
I loathe the big shots who give red carpet reception to the slayers of your own countrymen and people of your ethnic origin.
I despise the power-centres who cause severe wreckage to the state by announcing anything and everything as freebies.
I sense a strong feeling of hostility towards political parties which prepare ‘useful-for-nothing’ election manifesto.
I disregard the voters who’re suffering from ‘elective’ amnesia and are also forged into the oblivion.
I dis relish the system which doesn’t allow the regulatory body to perform its duties properly.
Everything is changing for a good cause in this world except for the Indian political system. I know I’m not living in an Utopian world to find such immortals but somehow you need to be true to your intuition, your country and to god, well if you're not an agnostic.
A famous quote from the old classical tamil film ‘uthamaputhiran’ by the veteran actor P.S. Veerappa would aptly describe the current situation in the hands of incorrigible, power and greed driven politicians – “Indha naadum naatu makkalum naasamai pogattum” (Rough translation – Let this country and people be devoid of any good thing).
